Would you survive? Blue Fox Ent. has unveiled an official trailer for an indie survival thriller called Year 10, marking the feature directorial debut of British filmmaker Ben Goodger. It first premiered at FrightFest 2024 but it hasn’t show up anywhere else. This will be on VOD in December if anyone thinks it looks good. 10 years after the fall of civilization, the few survivors have been driven to cannibalism. A young man must confront a violent tribe that has murdered his father and stolen the medicine that keeps his girlfriend alive. Taking place in a post-apocalyptic world, the film focuses on a man fighting wild dogs, nature, and other brutal humans in order to save his love. Starring Toby Goodger, Hannah Khalique-Brown, Duncan Lacroix, Alexander Anderson. I’m tired of these bland survival thrillers that are always “people will turn horrible and start eating each other!” Every time they all have the same gritty look and nothing new to offer.
Here’s the official trailer (+ poster) for Ben Goodger’s film Year 10, direct from YouTube:
“Survival is everything.” 10 Years after the fall of civilization, cannibalism has become the only option for humanity’s dwindling survivors. When a violent tribe murders his father and steals the medicine keeping his love interest alive, our protagonist must embark on a treacherous journey battling the elements, packs of vicious wild dogs, and the cannibal group, or else lose the only thing he has left. Year 10 is both written and directed by British filmmaker Ben Goodger, making his feature directorial debut with this film, after making many other short films previously. Produced by the late Bill Kenwright. This initially premiered at 2024 FrightFest in London earlier this year. Blue Fox Entertainment will release Goodger’s Year 10 thriller in select US theaters + on VOD starting December 6th, 2024 later this year. Anyone want to watch this?
