Quick Teaser for Disney+’s ‘Percy Jackson and the Olympians’ Series

“Percy Jackson! We’ve been expecting you…?” Disney has unveiled a brand new 30-second teaser trailer for their new Percy Jackson and the Olympians series, which will be streaming in December just before the end of the year. A bit of a strange time to reveal a new teaser trailer, though why not begin hyping it up. Based on the popular novel series of the same name by Rick Riordan, the demigod Percy Jackson leads a quest across America to prevent a war among the gods. Starring Walker Scobell (from The Adam Project & Secret Headquarters) as Percy. Just starting to come to terms with his newfound supernatural powers when the sky god Zeus accuses him of stealing his master lightning bolt. Now Percy must find it and restore order to Olympus. The giant cast includes Lin-Manuel Miranda (Hermes), Megan Mullally (Alecto), Toby Stephens (Poseidon), Virginia Kull (Sally), Jason Mantzoukas (Dionysus), Glynn Turman (Chiron), Jay Duplass (Hades), the late Lance Reddick (Zeus), Adam Copeland (Ares), Suzanne Cryer, Timm Sharp, and Timothy Omundson (Hephaestus). There’s not much to see yet, so it’s hard to say much about this footage – but they’re obviously hoping this will be big when it launches. Look any good?
