Serayah in Tubi’s Banker Revenge Thriller Film ‘Robbin’ Official Trailer

“Either make your move… or step off!” Tubi Movies has revealed the official trailer for Robbin, a revenge thriller from filmmaker Chris Stokes. This Tubi creation will be streaming on Tubi next month – and it’s not even the first movie this year from Stokes debuting on Tubi (he also made I Hate You to Death). Stokes went from being a music manager to working as a filmmaker, directing House Party 4 and You Got Served before going on to become a Tubi regular, creating Tubi movies by the dozen for the free streaming service. In this one, fresh out of jail for crimes she didn’t commit, a banker seeks revenge by enlisting her closest friends to help her rob banks and get justice. So another modern day spin on Robin Hood, hence this “Robbin'” title? Singer / actress Serayah stars, along with Erica Pinkett and Lawrence Robinson. This looks extremely cheesy and extremely cheap, but hey, that’s what Tubi is known for anyway. Some will find this entertaining.

Robbin is directed by American producer / writer / filmmaker Chris Stokes (aka Christopher B. Stokes), a former music exec / manager (founder of the record label the Ultimate Group in 1997) who turned to filmmaking instead – he has directed many, many movies since 2004 including House Party 4, You Got Served, Somebody Help Me 1 & 2, Battlefield America, The Helpers, ‘Til Death Do Us Part, Running Out Of Time, Sacrifice, The Stepmother 1 & 2 & 3, Assistant, Best Friend, You’re Not Alone, Rock the Boat, Vicious Affair, Still Here, I Hate You to Death, Forever Us, The Stepdaughter, Snatched, and Rock the Boat 1 & 2 previously. No screenwriter credit is currently available. It’s produced by Juanita Stokes; executive produced by Marques Houston and Chris Stokes. Tubi will debut Stokes’ Robbin movie streaming on Tubi starting August 10th, 2024 this summer. Who wants to watch?
