“Are you trying to make me look stupid in front of the other guests?” Enjoy this official trailer for a movie history doc called Who Done It: The Clue Documentary, directed by Jeff C. Smith. This premiered last year and it’s already available on on Blu-ray, but with a recent streaming launch on Screambox, we’re happy to catch up with it. Jonathan Lynn’s Clue (1985) has become a cult classic loved by multiple generations. Yet there has never been a documentary to tell the behind the scenes stories… until now. Solve the mystery of how Clue, based on original “Cluedo” board game, was murdered at the box office but, in a shocking twist, found a fan-base with a passionate appreciation for the movie’s hilarious dialogue and incredible cast. Even though it bombed, the film has gone on to earn its status as a comedy favorite. The doc features interviews with many of the original people who made it, as well as many of the fans that love this film. The game’s up.
