“All kinds of bad people getting in the water now.” Apple has revealed an official trailer for Bad Monkey, a comedy series about more crazy kooky Floridians (also see: Netflix’s Florida Man). This series will be on Apple TV+ streaming in August before the summer’s over if anyone’s interested. “Welcome to the shady side of paradise where Vince Vaughn has a long list of unusual suspects.” Vince Vaughn stars as Andrew Yancy, who has been bounced from the Miami Police and is now a health inspector working in the Florida Keys. But after stumbling upon a case that begins with a human arm being fished up, he might help solve a murder which will bring him back in. He just needs to get past a trove of Floridian oddballs and one bad monkey… The ensemble cast includes L. Scott Caldwell, Rob Delaney, Meredith Hagner, Natalie Martinez, Alex Moffat, Michelle Monaghan, Ronald Peet, Jodie Turner-Smith, with special guest star John Ortiz and other guests Zach Braff, Ashley Nicole Black, Scott Glenn, and Charlotte Lawrence. Alas this doesn’t look that great, the comedy isn’t even funny, not sure where they went wrong. Anyone into this?
