‘Warrior Strong’ Basketball Movie Trailer with Jordan Johnson-Hinds

“Just what we need – a guy in an apron.” Quiver Distribution has revealed an official trailer for a movie called Warrior Strong, about a basketball coach taking on a job back home in a small town. This will be opening at the end of September if anyone is interested in watching an inspirational sports flick. The story is about Bilal Irving, played by Jordan Johnson-Hinds, a pro player who returns to his Northern Ontario hometown of Dumont (in Canada). He re-connects with his former coach, and conflict ensues as they both struggle to put their egos and complicated pasts aside to mentor the town’s only basketball team. The cast includes Andrew Dice Clay, Sarah Podemski, Stephen Kalyn, Julian Young, Macaulee Cassaday. This actually kinda looks like a Mighty Ducks remake, with basketball instead of hockey. Could be good fun.
