“Together we can discover the wonder of our planet… before it’s too late.” Happy Earth Day! FX debuted a 30-second PSA for Earth Day celebrating their upcoming series Alien: Earth. This teaser doesn’t feature any real footage – it’s just another promo reminding everyone this is coming up. Ready for release sometime in summer 2025 – though still no final date confirmed yet (despite two other teasers). When a mysterious space vessel crash-lands on Earth, a young woman (played by Sydney Chandler) and a ragtag group of tactical soldiers make a fateful discovery that puts them face-to-face with the planet’s greatest threat. This is set in 2120 when “five corporations – Prodigy, Weyland-Yutani, Lynch, Dynamic and Threshold – wield the power of nations, and proprietary advancements in technology provide the promise of a new tomorrow.” Uh oh. Created & directed by Noah Hawley. The cast also includes Alex Lawther, Timothy Olyphant, Essie Davis, Samuel Blenkin, Babou Ceesay, David Rysdahl, Adrian Edmondson, Adarsh Gourav, Moe Bar-El, Diem Camille, Jonathan Ajayi, Lily Newmark, and Erana James.
