“Meet Dunk and Egg.” And everyone else. HBO, also known as Max, has debuted a 2-minute preview for their upcoming 2024-2025 slate of series for streaming & TV. This aired during the season finale of “House of the Dragon” last weekend to keep viewers subscribed. “The dragons were just the beginning. New stories, fresh chapters. It’s all coming soon to Max.” What do they have coming up? Get excited for the upcoming new HBO Series The Penguin, Dune: Prophecy, The Franchise, It: Welcome to Derry, A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, and more. New seasons of the HBO Original Series The White Lotus, The Last of Us (in 2025), Chimp Crazy, and The Gilded Age, plus new seasons of Max Original Series And Just Like That, Sex Lives of College Girls, and more. There’s also a docu series about making The Sopranos called Wise Guy – expected later in 2024. I just hope they’ll wise up and switch the name back to HBO (or HBO Max) sooner than later.
