Noah Newman and Sienna Bacall are leaving The Young and the Restless. The news was revealed during the August 3, 2026, episode. Noah told Sharon and Mariah they were moving to Los Angeles. The trip will help them stay away from Sienna’s ex, Matt Clark.
Clark’s return created problems in Noah and Sienna’s relationship. Noah never believed Matt had really changed. Sienna, however, believed her former husband deserved another chance. Their sudden decision surprised both Sharon and Mariah.
The exit story was written by outgoing head writer Josh Griffith. Whether Noah and Sienna return now depends on the new writing team. Jamey Giddens and Dan O’Connor officially take over the show this week.
Lucas Adams joined the soap as Noah Newman on November 4, 2025. He became the latest actor to play Nick and Sharon’s son. Before him, Rory Gibson played the role until April 2023. Adams previously appeared as Tripp Johnson on Days of Our Lives. Tamara Braun made her debut on October 14, 2025.
