In Carter Smith’s new film Swallowed, two best friends (Cooper Koch and Jose Colon) accidentally get roped into a drug-smuggling operation. On paper, it’s a relatively simple story. But, Smith takes the story and weaves a disgusting queer body horror romance full of horror and iconic line delivery from queer horror legend Mark Patton.
Dread Central sat down with Smith to talk about creating his worms, working with Mark Patton, and more.
Swallowed is out now on digital and VOD.
