Lego has announced the cast and story for its first-ever live-action musical movie. Lego Friends: Heartlake the Musical will bring the popular Friends world to life through music and live performances. The 90-minute feature follows a young girl on a journey into Heartlake City.
According to a Variety report, Jada Langley and Gino Ochello lead the upcoming movie. Langley plays Daisy, a young girl struggling to fit in at a new school in a new country. Ochello joins her as the story moves into the colorful world of Heartlake City.
Daisy finds a mysterious key that transports her to the Lego Friends world. She meets new friends there and soon learns they need her help. Together, they work to save a vital local landmark while the story unfolds through songs and dance.
Jada Langley recently played Joyce in the touring production of Sunny Afternoon. Meanwhile, Gino Ochello currently leads The Karate Kid: The Musical in London’s West End. Both performers bring theater experience to the musical’s central cast.
