Doja Cat has shared a remix of SZA’s SOS track “Kill Bill.” The artists last paired up on their 2021 single “Kiss Me More,” which won the trophy for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance at the Grammys the following year. Check out Doja’s remix below.
SZA released her highly-anticipated sophomore album SOS late last year. The record swiftly shot to No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart; it secured that position for 10 nonconsecutive weeks. Upon hitting its ninth consecutive week atop the chart, it broke the record for most weeks at No. 1 for an album by a woman in almost seven years.
In January, SZA dropped a music video for “Kill Bill” directed by Christian Breslauer. The clip was heavily inspired by the Quentin Tarantino films of the same name, and found SZA seeking revenge on a violent ex, katana in hand.
Doja Cat’s most recent studio album Planet Her arrived in 2021, following 2019’s Hot Pink. Planet Her featured guest appearances from the Weeknd, Ariana Grande, J.I.D, and Young Thug. The 14-track record also includes “Kiss Me More.”
Since issuing Planet Her, Doja enlisted Eve for “Tonight,” linked up with Saweetie for “Best Friend,” and hopped on Ariana Grande’s “34+35” remix alongside Megan Thee Stallion. She also hosted MTV’s 2021 Video Music Awards.
Last year, Doja performed at Coachella, and contributed the song “Vegas” to the soundtrack for Baz Luhrmann’s Elvis biopic.
