Metallica’s 2027 North American Tour: How to Get Tickets

Metallica surprised fans when they announced a new 2027 North American leg of their long-running “M72 World Tour.”

The 2027 outing will kick off May 8th in Vancouver, and will hit stadiums in San Diego, El Paso, San Antonio, Fayetteville, Kansas City, Raleigh, Indianapolis, Buffalo, Madison, and Cleveland before wrapping up June 19th in Salt Lake City.

The newly announced run of shows will follow Metallica’s upcoming “Life Burns Faster” residency at Las Vegas’ Sphere, which runs from October 2026 to March 2027.

How Can I Get Tickets to Metallica’s 2027 US Tour?

Tickets will be available starting with Metallica’s Fan Club pre-sale beginning on Monday, September 21st, at 10:00 a.m. local time. Pre-sales for Citi cardmembers and Verizon customers as part of its Verizon Shine loyalty program will follow beginning September 22nd at 10:00 a.m. The public ticket on-sale is set for Friday, September 25th at 10am local time via Ticketmaster.

What Is Metallica’s 2027 US Tour?

Metallica’s 2027 US outing is an extension of the band’s long-running “M72 World Tour” launched way back in 2023 in support of their latest album, 72 Seasons. The enormously successful run appeared to wrap up this past July, but alas, the legendary metal act is taking the tour into a fifth year in 2027.

Unlike most of the previous “M72” dates that included “No Repeat Weekends” over two nights in a single city, the 2027 dates feature single shows in each city.

Nu-metal veterans Limp Bizkit and the theatrical Swedish metal band Avatar are supporting all shows on the 2027 US outing.
