In the year 2023, Ohanian became a minority owner of Chelsea FC Women and is quite vocal about his love for women soccer. The post was definitely not all hype for the game, as one fan even pointed out the intimate touch of him painting somebody’s nails. Olivia P. Walker exclaimed, “Omg 😩 You are painting her nails which is SO CUTE.” These little moments of genuine interaction make his relationship with the team very real.

This sort of excitement was not really centered on the nail-painting. Chelsea supporters invaded the responses with calls to victory for the match. Cassper🌴 wrote, “A day to bring one more trophy home,” while MIDE🥤 boisterously declared, “First trophy today I will be there.” The vibes were electric from Chelsea fans, as they clearly took a cue from Ohanian’s exuberance.

But it was not just hype. There was also a muted acknowledgement of how important Ohanian’s role really is. Tom Overend said, “Enjoy! Hope your first game as co-owner goes well.” Someone of that stature backing the ladies really is huge and a proud statement, with fans ready for it.

Chelsea Women have really been dominating in the Women’s Super League for some time now and have made leaps forward in the European scene as well. There was an extra star factor Ohanian brought into the glitzy establishment. Judging by the reaction to his post, the fans are for him all the way. From nail-painting zen to ecstatic cries of trophies at Chelsea FC Women, the atmosphere is electric.

If it is crystal clear on the day that the team hit the pitch, it is that Ohanian is no anonymous partner. He is right there in the trenches with the players and the fans, living every single moment. On a lighter level or a bigger win, from afar, one could clearly hear Ohanian screaming—he is in with Chelsea FC Women all the way. And judging from the reactions, the feeling is mutual.
