Beyoncé is breathing a sigh of “relief” right now.
In case you missed it, the lawsuit accusing her husband JAY-Z of raping a 13-year-old girl alongside Diddy following the MTV Video Music Awards back in 200 has been dropped. The woman who accused the rappers moved to voluntarily dismiss the case on Friday with prejudice, meaning she and her attorney, Tony Buzbee, cannot refile the suit again. It is well and truly over — something Bey is thrilled about.

A source told Dailymail.com on Saturday that the singer is very relieved the legal battle is done as it had caused a lot of stress for her and their three children, Blue, Rumi, and Sir:
“Relief is too simple a word to describe what Bey is feeling right now after Jay’s current legal issues were dropped. While they put on brave faces, behind the scenes, it was a stressful time for Beyonce, bringing back memories of when Jay had previously broken her trust. On top of that, their children were affected.”
Of course, we all know when they say “broke her trust,” they mean when Jay allegedly cheated on her! Oof!
Calling the situation “a complete nightmare,” the insider shared that Beyoncé “expected the case to go much further.” She even anticipated she would have to head to court to support JAY. It doesn’t come as a surprise that the Dreamgirls actress would be at the trial if it happened. We previously heard she planned to stick by his side through this no matter what! However, a trial is not happening now or ever. At least not when it comes to this particular case. All the pop star wants to do now is move on from the lawsuit drama and focus on what is most important: her family and career. The insider concluded:
“Now, Beyoncé can focus on her upcoming tour, her business, being a mom and wife, and enjoy the success of her recent Grammy wins. It’s a great Valentine’s Day for her to focus on family and the future without the weight of this case hanging over her.”
