Kristin Cavallari continues to open up about her falling out with Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick — because it’s still a bee in her bonnet!
Back in November, the former reality star slammed Scott on her podcast for reaching out to her to ask to catch up and chat years after they stopped being friends, calling it very “manipulative.” Especially when the reason they fell out of touch is he allegedly started a rumor they hooked up one night in Las Vegas! Why would he do that? To make Kourtney jealous following their brief breakup in 2011 — jealous enough to make her want to get back together. It worked. Unfortunately KCav had become “really good” friends with Kourt. And Scott’s lie, she explained, ruined their friendship for good!

So when she saw the DM from Scott more than a decade later, she believed he only contacted her in order to stir up drama with The Kardashians star again since Kristin was talking smack about the family. A source claimed that wasn’t the Talentless founder’s intention, insisting he “was being genuine.” Hmm. Well, The Hills alum did not see it that way! And she STILL doesn’t see it that way!
During her appearance on Monday’s Dumb Blonde podcast, Kristin opened up some more about what went down all those years ago — and the part that enrages her the most about everything. She rehashed how she had known Scott by being in the “same group of friends” when she was “21 or 22.” Of course, she also dated the Kardshians’ stepbrother Brody Jenner. However, she met Kourtney and became very close to her when she was with Scott. She told Bunnie Xo:
“Scott and Kourtney started dating, that’s how I met Kourtney. I f**king loved Kourtney. We were really good friends.”
However, as we said, their friendship came to an end when Scott allegedly planted a fake story about her and him hooking up while in Vegas. Kristin continued:
“He was devastated about Kourtney. We all went out, we had a good time, I was never even alone with Scott. The next morning, it was on Page Six or something that Scott and I had hooked up.”
According to the Laguna Beach alum, a friend of hers named Stew said he “knew for a fact” that Scott made up the story “to try to make Kourtney jealous.” And understandably, she was. Kristin also noted that “Kourtney was really upset about it” at the time. And no matter what she said or how much she denied the rumors, the Poosh founder wouldn’t listen, arguing:
“‘Well, I don’t know, I just know I have sisters and I would never put myself in that situation.’”
And they “stopped talking” afterward. Thinking back on the situation now, Kristin feels that “Scott must’ve said it was true.” That’s the only reason Kourt never forgave her. He kept the lie going to protect himself. Oof.
But she’s upset at the whole family! While a lot of her frustrations are toward Scott, she’s also annoyed that not one person from the Kardashian family ever came forward to clear up the rumors to this day:
“All it would take is one of the Kardashians to be like, ‘That’s not true,’ for it to go away, but they wouldn’t do that. That’s the part that pisses me off is I think they have no regard for anyone else other than themselves.”
Damn…
Would it have helped if the Kardashians spoke out? Yeah, probably. However, the person who should come clean about the whole situation is Scott at the end of the day. If he started this mess, it’s his responsibility to clean it up. But Kristin wants Scott to take any sort of accountability, she’s going to be waiting a long time. His Lordship doesn’t have the best track record of owning up to f**king up. When Bunnie pointed out the family “don’t really defend themselves either,” Kristin agreed, adding:
“They’re in the camp of all press is good press.”
So, when Scott reached out to her after she “was talking s**t” about the Kardashians, she thought it was “so calculated.” She explained:
“This is what the Kardashians and a lot of people in Hollywood do is when you’re out there talking s**t, they want to shut you up. So it’s keep your friends close and your enemies closer. And I don’t play that game. It’s so fake to me.”
If it wasn’t clear before, it is now! Kristin wants nothing to do with Scott, Kourtney, or any of the Kardashians these days! Not after they did her so dirty!
