So, this is why Kim Zolciak-Biermann is so calm…
Apparently, the Real Housewives of Atlanta alum isn’t worried about the foreclosure news about her Georgia mansion… because it’s all just “a misunderstanding”?!
As we’ve been following, Kim and her husband Kroy Biermann are set to lose their home on March 7 when Truist Bank auctions it off outside of the Fulton County Courthouse. This comes after the couple failed to pay back a $1.65 million loan they took out on the property in October 2012. Naturally, we’d think the pair would be stressed AF right now, but instead, the reality star’s been showing off the former NFL player as he cleans their home practically in the nude. So, what gives?

According to a source close to Kim who spoke with People on Wednesday, the TV personality is unconcerned with the foreclosure news because it’s not what it seems:
“She is telling everyone this is a misunderstanding and is being sorted out. She’s not moving.”
Pretty confident for someone who is less than two weeks away from the auction…
That said, the 44-year-old certainly isn’t acting like she’s going to be forced to pack her bags anytime soon. On Tuesday, she actually took to her Instagram Story to give fans an impromptu tour of her pool and living room. After showing off her backyard view and pool area, Kim panned the camera around her lavish living room, complete with a large couch, TV, and crystal chandelier. She said:
“This is definitely one of my most favorite rooms, called the Hollywood room. That chandelier is 7 — almost 8-feet wide, by 7-feet high.”
The Don’t Be Tardy alum went on to tease that her kids love to have lots of “fun” in the living room while pointing out a yellow balloon stuck in the light fixture. LOLz! Take a look:
Looks lovely! Let’s just hope she gets to keep it!

Interestingly, this isn’t the first time the family has faced a potential sale. In October, there were also reports that the same home was in foreclosure after they couldn’t repay another loan. In November, Kim took to Instagram to deny claims the house was ever at risk, saying:
“Ok you guys, my house has not sold for $257,000. If you guys think I would let my home that we’ve put millions and millions of dollars into go for $257,000, you’re an idiot, okay? For real.”
The residence, located in Alpharetta, Georgia, was bought in 2012 for $880,000 and is currently worth around $2.6 million. So, obviously, they’re not too keen on giving it up! But they better get to paying their debts ASAP! So far, they haven’t secured a miracle just yet. A representative for the Fulton County Tax Assessor’s Office (which didn’t oversee the foreclosure) confirmed there are currently outstanding fees and penalties listed for the multimillion-dollar property. Thoughts? What do you think the so-called “misunderstanding” is?? Let us know (below)!
