MGK has been doing everything in his power to win back Megan Fox — and it seems to be working!
As Perezcious readers know, it’s been an exciting week for the exes after Machine Gun Kelly announced they welcomed their baby girl on Thursday. So awesome! And frankly, it was nice just to see they were both involved in the birth considering how estranged they’ve been since their split late last year, shortly after the pregnancy news. At the time, there were rumors of a cheating scandal after the actress found upsetting texts on her partner’s phone. Things got pretty tense between them, and it was unclear what their dynamic would be once the baby was born.
Now that we know MGK was a huge part of the birthing process, there seems to be some hope for their co-parenting future! And it sounds like this was all thanks to the songwriter doing what it took to mend fences with Megan.

An insider told RadarOnline that the performer has been putting in the work to show the Jennifer’s Body alum how he has changed and improved since their breakup — both as a way to ensure his future with their kiddo… and maybe get back together one day!
Last Friday, a source told the outlet that the Bad Things artist has been begging the 38-year-old to take him back for MONTHS. She hasn’t budged, but that hasn’t stopped him from trying. To better himself, MGK has reportedly been getting counseling and going to weekly religious services, they expressed:
“He’s insisting he’s on a totally straight and narrow path and ready to make whatever compromises Megan wants for the sake of their baby. He’s going to church every week and making sure she knows it because that does earn points with her. She’s been a big supporter of his faith and feels it helps him to have a moral compass to follow and gives him spiritual support.”
The rapper recently posted a pic on his IG Story with the caption, “Church was right on time today.” He added emojis of a baby bottle and a baby being fed, noting, “Can’t wait.” So, these services seem to be inspiring him!
He’s also not a first-time dad since he has a 15-year-old daughter, Casie, from a previous relationship. So, while it may take more time for Megan to forgive him, he does have a good history of parenting working in his favor. The insider explained:
“That being said, he also has a track record of being a great and devoted dad to his daughter Casie, so him saying he’s excited about this baby and wanting to do everything right does carry some weight.”
That’s good! We’re sure the last thing Megan wants is for her newborn not to have a relationship with her father. She’s made a point to ensure her other three kids with Brian Austin Green have a good relationship with their dad despite a divorce, so it only seems normal to continue that with the rocker.
The source added that MGK was confident he and Meg would be able to put their bad blood behind them to figure out a co-parenting situation — and it seems like they have! The fact he got to be there for the little one’s birth is a good indicator that Megan intends on raising this kid together. As for what that means for the future, that’s still up in the air, the source continued:
“He’s been praying for this child with Megan for a long time. And he wants Megan back too; he’s still in love with her, so the stakes are very high.”
One thing that’s probably working against him is his ongoing feud with BAG — which escalated just hours before the baby’s birth was shared. That kind of behavior just doesn’t make him look very mature! Hopefully, he can move on from that and just focus on his new kiddo!
