Harry Shum Jr. and Jenna Johnson will be joined by a very special guest for their October 20 dance on Dancing With the Stars: the actor’s wife, Shelby Rabara. Shum is paying tribute to his longtime love for Dedication Night with a foxtrot to “Stop This Train” by John Mayer.
While Shum is known for roles on Glee, Shadowhunters, Grey’s Anatomy, Crazy Rich Asians and more, he’s been building a life away from the cameras with Rabara since 2007. Now, they’re going to share a special moment together in front of millions of viewers.

Shum Jr. is married to Rabara, who was his longtime girlfriend before they tied the knot. These two have been together for nearly 20 years!
Rabara is an actress best known for voicing Peridot in Steven Universe and Snappy in Toy Story 5. She also appeared alongside her then-boyfriend in Season 1 of Glee as Shoshandra, a member of Vocal Adrenaline. Before her acting days, Rabara was a Laker Girl from 2004 to 2006. The couple got married in October 2014 in Costa Rica. To announce their major milestone, Shum posted a photo of Rabara and himself holding lanterns on the beach with a simple bride emoji plus groom emoji as the caption. According to People, fellow Glee alums Ushkowitz, Kevin McHale, and Amber Riley (Who is also a Mirrorball champ!) were in Costa Rica for the big day.

Shum Jr. and Rabara have never officially revealed how they met. However, they seem to have crossed paths during their early dance careers in 2007. Before they started dating, the duo appeared in the same commercial and had headshots taken by the same photographer, who advertised them side by side.
