Mama June did not like Jessica Shannon’s fiancée, Shyann McCant, from the start, so she was likely more than thrilled when they split. Now, she has taken it upon herself to expose infidelity in the relationship, but the two ladies have since clapped back. Keep reading for more on what they have had to say since the tea was spilled.
Mama June Is Not Holding Back
A short time ago, it came out that Shyann McCant had cheated on Jessica Shannon throughout their whole marriage. Moreover, a snap came out of the alleged person she was with. Yet, nothing had been confirmed, and everyone seemingly moved on. Then, Mama June opened up her own can of worms and shared that this was, in fact, true. She stated that she was always the one to blame for relationships ending.
Therefore, she had a picture of McKenzie, who was sitting next to Jessica and Shyann in a red shirt. That was the one who Shyann had been with all along, but it did not land as June thought it would.
Soon after Mama June shared what had happened, plus a snap of Mackenzie, Shyann took the floor. She had this to say:
“So let this be known… Yes, I cheated. I take full responsibility for that. I’m not making excuses, and I’m not trying to change what happened.”
Yet, there are some details that she did not feel were for public consumption. She added that, because children are involved, she is very protective. Moreover, she does not believe that they need to be in the middle of this drama when they have no skin in the game. Finally, June was not a part of their private relationship, so those who were not there should not insert themselves. It’s a lot more than cut and dry.
Jessica Shannon also responded to what her mother put out, which could all be publicity for a new season. She shared this:
“Yes, I knew Shyann and Mackenzie are together. Do I care? Honestly, no. Was the way everything happened crazy? Sure. Was I hurt at first? Absolutely. But that’s in the past.”
Mackenzie has children with her ex-wife; she was allegedly with Shyann on breaks from Jessica and then some, and it seems to be water under the bridge.
