‘Mama June’ When Is Reality Series Returning For Season 8?

Mama June: Family Crisis only had eight episodes for Season 7, and fans were worried the show had been axed. The ending of the finale had title cards with updates so which made many believe this was the end of an era. Now, June is answering some pressing questions about the fate of the hit reality series. Keep reading for more details.

When Is Series Returning For Season 8?

It has been going for seven seasons, but the Mama June: Family Crisis finale felt more like an official ending. There were status updates on what the cast was up to and how they were handling life. The cards answered so many questions that viewers may have had or that would be seen in future seasons. This led many to wonder if the controversial family would not be back on WeTV. Many know that this wouldn’t be the first cancellation, as they dealt with this after Season 4 of Here Comes Honey Boo Boo.

Now, Mama June is speaking out on the fate of the show. She noted that no one can cancel the series unless they themselves pull the plug. Of course, some fans felt that she was wrong and it could be pulled at any time. More so, she did not have that kind of power, but she believes she does. She made it clear that the series is not going anywhere, it is all real and unscripted, and there will be more coming in Season 8. Fans were elated to learn this news and to hear June say it out loud.

They felt that this past season of Family Crisis was filled with so much, including the demise of Pumpkin and Josh Efird’s marriage. Pumpkin also revealed she had moved on with his cousin, and Josh officially exited their family home. Jessica Shannon got engaged, and Dralin Carswell’s legal problems were front and center. Yet, he chose probation, all while June was facing a medical setback.

Ready For More

As for when the new season of Family Crisis will begin, that is unknown. There was roughly a year between the last two seasons airing. Therefore, the next season may not happen until May 2026. As for now, Mama June is starting her own series and spilling the tea. Yet, fans are more than ready for Family Crisis to return and grateful it will be sticking around:

• Lookin Good June!! I can’t wait for season 8!!!! 🔥❤️👏
• I love y’all! Y’all better not be cancelled! I’ll be pissed! Love yalls show and love mama June
• Lookin good June. I hope you’re not cancelled. I love the show. Look forward to Friday night.

For now, fans will just have to follow June on her social media journey. She is everywhere, posting a variety of clips, so that should help ease the pain of the wait.
