Rescue: HI-Surf Exclusive Sneak Peek: Sonny Searches For His Daughter While The Threat Of A Tsunami Looms

A tsunami may be headed to Hawaii, meaning the North Shore lifeguards are on high alert.

Tsunamis have the potential to inflict wide-scale destruction, and with a warning looming, it will be imperative for Sonny and his team to secure the beaches and look out for their fellow neighbors.

For Sonny, in particular, he’ll find himself looking for his daughter Ocean, who’s missing amid the warning during Rescue: HI-Surf Season 1 Episode 12, as you’ll see in a clip exclusive to TV Fanatic.

We’ve seen Sonny and Ocean’s relationship throughout the season be a bit rocky in the aftermath of Zion’s death, but the two have gotten to a much better place as time has passed and they’ve talked to one another.

But Ocean is still a teenager, and teenagers sometimes do questionable things like skipping school or saying they will be in one place when they’re really somewhere else.

They’ve also been known to leave their phones at home while their parents are out of the house when said parents can track their phones.

Not being where she said she’d be, Ocean would understandably worry Sonny and Jarrah on a normal day.

Still, it’s not a normal day when a tsunami warning alarm blares across the island, making it imperative that Sonny tracks down his daughter.

The tsunami threat will most likely leave everyone on edge, so it will be important for everyone to work together and ensure that everyone is doing their best to stay safe.

Rescue: HI-Surf Season 1 has been equal parts action and personal drama.

However, this hour should be heavy on the action, especially if the natural disaster turns from a warning into a reality.

Coming out of the events of Rescue: HI-Surf Season 1 Episode 11, it’ll be interesting to see how Will and Em co-exist in the aftermath of their split, though there may not be much time to dissect things while in the middle of the chaos that could be coming their way.

The two have always done their jobs appropriately no matter what’s going on with them personally, and there’s no reason to think things would be any different here.

Em will also have to face Sonny after telling him she no longer wants the Captain’s job, which undoubtedly puts Sonny in an odd predicament.

He’s been advocating for Em all season, and if she no longer wants the job, what does that mean for his team?

Many people in Sonny’s life have hinted that his retirement seems a bit hastily planned, but he’s been steadfast in his decision.

Will Em’s sudden decision have him rethinking his plans?

That may be more of an ongoing storyline and not solved in this hour, but it’ll be something to look out for as he remains in charge for what will surely be one hell of a shift that day.
