TV Fanatic has your first look at an exclusive scene from The Rainmaker Season 1 Episode 6, and it’s a wild one.
Rudy is doing what Rudy does: finding an in that will not only ensure Bruiser welcomes him back to the team but also lands Leo Drummond on his knees.
The episode? It’s a good one.
Our clip kicks off with Deck tearing down the hallway like his life depends on it.
Breathless and flustered, he discovers Rudy waiting for him in the Tinley Britt lobby with a juicy nugget that may save the case: Great Benefit’s Bernie Manford’s Instagram feed is on fire. Literally.
The man earns only $150k as a quality assurance officer, but scroll his socials and you’d think he’s headlining Coachella.
Deck and Rudy can see that math doesn’t add up — unless, of course, you factor in insider trading.
For Rudy, it’s the opening he’s been waiting for.
He admits to Bruiser that he’s the one who set this chain of events in motion, and after already jeopardizing her case, he feels like he owes it to her to see it through.
Bruiser pushes back hard — what can Rudy possibly bring to the table that she can’t?
That’s when Rudy lays it out with a straight face and a wry grin: he’s going to lean into his worst quality.
He’s not the most experienced. He’s not the most polished. But he is relentless.
“I’m going to annoy the hell out of them,” he declares.
It’s funny, sure, but it’s also a glimpse of Rudy Baylor finding his edge.
