Laura Wright’s new photos show a very different side of General Hospital star
Laura Wright took to Instagram to share a carousel of photos celebrating her boyfriend Wes Ramsey’s birthday. “This kind, generous handsome man was born today and I couldn’t be more grateful. Happy birthday Wes Ramsey I adore you,” she wrote in the caption. Laura shared some cute pictures with Ramsey from their quality time together. The 56-year-old actress also added solo images of Ramsey to express her love for him. Ramsey responded to Laura’s wish in the comments section. “Love my ‘Laura’s World…’,” he wrote.
Laura was previously married to John Wright from 1995 to 2016. They have two kids together. Laura has been dating Ramsey since 2017. This year, she opened up about her nine-year romance with Ramsey. “I was in a very different mindset when we first got together. My whole life had shifted,” the award-winning actress told Soap Opera Digest. She added she “went from married to divorced, playing Carly and also having young children that were graduating high school and going to college.” Laura continued, “I wasn’t thinking about long-term, you know? I was just trying to get through the day, quite frankly!
She also said, “I was still living half the time up in Santa Ynez, near Santa Barbara, where I raised my kids. I really only saw Wes when I came down [to Los Angeles, where GH tapes].” Laura expressed that nine years later, the couple’s lives are extremely different. “We live together in a home we bought together, we have a dog… The two people we have become, the couple that we have become in the past nine years, is very different than who we were when we went on our first date,” she explained.
