MobLand stars Pierce Brosnan and Helen Mirren have spoken out in support of Tom Hardy amid allegations of misconduct on the show. The actors pushed back against reports of Hardy causing tensions on the show’s set. When asked whether they would have continued working on the show without Hardy, the duo expressed a pleasantly positive outlook.
In a new interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Brosnan and Mirren spoke about their admiration for Hardy’s work. “We’re not even contemplating that,” Mirren said when asked about the possibility of continuing without Hardy. “That’s not a part of any sort of contemplation whatsoever. He is the anchor of this mad whirlwind happening around that character.”
“Tom is MobLand. Without Tom, we don’t have MobLand,” Brosnan added. “He is the center. He allows us to play these crazy characters.” The actor had come out in support of Hardy earlier this month, saying that he was “massive fan of the man’s work.”

Plot details for MobLand season 3 have not been revealed yet. It remains to be seen how the events of season 2 will unfold, setting the stage for the show’s future. The upcoming season will see Harry Da Souza and the Harrigans as they continue to deal with growing threats from their rivals. It will consist of 10 episodes. Hardy, Brosnan, and Mirren have been confirmed to return in season 3.

Scanlan, Jasmine Jobson, Johnny Flynn, Janet McTeer, Ophelia Lovibond, and Toby Jones. The series was created by Ronan Bennett with Jez Butterworth serving as its showrunner.
MobLand season 3 doesn’t have a release date, but it will potentially come out next year, given its production schedule. MobLand season 2 premieres on Paramount+ on September 18, 2026.
