Rebecca Ferguson and Greta Lee will be playing strangers in their upcoming movie. The latest romantic comedy has been filming in London recently.
Per an update from Deadline, Ferguson and Lee’s new project is titled Honeymoon/Funeral. The plot of the movie will explore, ‘two women who meet on a flight from LA to London – one en route to her honeymoon by herself after being left at the altar by her girlfriend, the other headed home for her mother’s funeral – and wind up spending the week together.”
Ferguson is currently engaged with Apple TV’s Silo, where she also serves as an executive producer. Apart from that, she also appeared in Netflix’s A House of Dynamite. The 42-year-old’s next notable credit includes Dune: Part Three, where she plays Lady Jessica.
Greta’s credits include A House of Dynamite, The Last House, Late Fame, and Toy Story 5. The 43-year-old was also nominated for the Best Actress category at the Golden Globes, Independent Spirit, and Critics’ Choice for Past Lives.

Nahnatchka Khan is the director of Honeymoon/Funeral. The romantic comedy is being produced by Jennifer Carreras and Nahnatchka Khan through their production company, Fierce Baby. MRC is financing the project and is also supervising the production.
The screenplay for Honeymoon/Funeral is written by Julia Bicknell. Alongside the other producers, Bicknell is also contributing to the project as a producer. FilmNation is handling the international sales of the upcoming rom-com. Per Deadline, FilmNation will begin its promotion for Honeymoon/Funeral around the time of the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) market.
While the movie has begun production in London, further details about the film are still kept under wraps. Honeymoon/Funeral is expected to hit the screens in the summer of 2027, per The Playlist.
