Andy Cohen is thrilled to introduce boyfriend Kevin Sobieski to the world of reality TV.
“I got him to watch Traitors, which was a great start,” Cohen, 58, said on the Thursday, October 22, episode of the “Morally Corrupt” podcast. “And he was like, ‘Oh, holy s***’ at, like, Candiace [Dillard Bassett] and [Lisa] Rinna. I was like, ‘These are my girls.’ I go, ‘They know how to be on TV. They’re so good on TV.’ So he will continue to watch that. Now his algorithm feeds him everything.”
From Cohen’s perspective, this is a positive development in their relationship because now Sobieski, 42, can be more in the loop on his day-to-day life.
“It’s good because I also want him to know like, ‘Oh, I’m in deep s*** because I said x or y.’ And he’ll be like, ‘I saw,’” Cohen said. “It’s good. I like it that he has a little knowledge.”
Sobieski has also been to “a couple” tapings of Cohen’s Watch What Happens Live, where he has met The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ Erika Jayne and The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Mary Cosby.
“So random. I mean, it’s always so random,” Cohen said. “I wanted to bring him to the Ultimate Girls Trip premiere party. I was like, ‘Put this date in your calendar.’ I go, ‘This is important to me.’ It was coming up, and he was like, ‘Why do I have to go to this Housewives party?’ I go, ‘I care about these women. I’ve been with them for so many years, and they’ve asked me for so many years, “When are you going to get a boyfriend?”’ I go, ‘You’re my guy, so I want them to meet you.’”
The Harvard-educated businessman, however, ultimately couldn’t attend the party because of a work-related conflict.
“He had to go away on business. Like, legitimately,” Cohen recalled. “He really did.”
Cohen and Sobieski first crossed paths at a party in the Hamptons in July 2025 before going public with their relationship one year later.
“I almost didn’t go, and I dragged myself out. I never get invited to gay parties in the Hamptons anymore. I went, [and] we talked all night,” Cohen recalled on his radio show in June of their first encounter. “This man is kind and strong and smart, and he is an adult, and he loves my children and they love him and I love him. Introducing him to the kids and just entering him into the equation of my family so slowly, I have to say, it has been so easy.”
