Fans have been following the love story between Vanna White and her fiancé, John Donaldson, for years. Recently, an inside source has opened up about the couple’s future. This news also comes out after White herself recently talked about her relationship.
Vanna White & John Donaldson Have Been Dating Since 2012
White is best known to audiences for her work as a co-host on Wheel of Fortune. She has been part of the show since 1982, working alongside Pat Sajak and Ryan Seacrest.
In addition, White has become involved with other projects and ventures. This includes her own yarn brand, Vanna’s Choice.
In her personal life, White has been in a relationship with contractor John Donaldson since 2012. However, an inside source recently weighed in on the couple.
According to sources, as shared by Radar Online, the couple has picked Hawaii as a destination for their dream wedding. However, they suggested that issues are stalling their plans.
The insider shared, “They looked dead-set to make it happen later this year, but her schedule got in the way. Once again, Vanna is avoiding setting the date.”
As the insider continued, White’s plans for the future are unclear. They shared, “She wants to get married and then she doesn’t, and the indecision is getting on John’s nerves.”
White is believed to have met Donaldson through mutual friends. They started dating around a decade after White split from restaurant owner George Santo Pietro, with whom she shares two kids.
The Wheel Of Fortune Co-Host Also Talked About Her Relationship In A Recent Interview
According to the inside sources, Donaldson doesn’t have an issue with White staying on Wheel of Fortune. However, stalling things might impact their relationship going forward.
The source continued, “John loves her dearly and doesn’t see why they can’t commit to this now after more than a decade together. But Vanna won’t be pressured. Her career is taking up all her time and headspace right now, so John’s going to have to wait. It’ll be a test of patience for sure.”
For her part, White was interviewed about her relationship with Donaldson earlier this month. Speaking with E! News, she shared that she’s currently happy where things are.
White shared, “We’re very happy. We’ve been together for a long time and we are just happy the way it is.”
“Maybe people want to see us get married. When you’ve been with someone for so long, you kind of feel like you’re already married. You don’t have to have that piece of paper.”
