This week’s Netflix releases range from Fauda to Salma Hayek‘s chartbuster, with more binge-worthy titles to watch.

Arriving on September 8 is the fifth season of the Netflix Original series, Fauda. The new season unfolds two years after October 7. An old friend goes rogue on a personal vendetta, dragging Doron into a dangerous deep-cover assignment in Marseille. As they race to foil a devastating attack on Israel, the team must also face their own PTSD and the lasting impact of endless warfare. Created by Lior Raz and Avi Issacharoff, the Israeli thriller stars Lior Raz, Itzik Cohen, and Yaakov Zada-Daniel, joined by Mélanie Laurent.

Another must-watch release on Netflix this week is Puss in Boots: The Last Wish. Dropping September 10, the 2022 animated film gives DreamWorks’ swashbuckling cat a Spider-Verse-inspired makeover. Down to his last of nine lives, Puss is hunted by a truly terrifying incarnation of Death. He teams up with Kitty Softpaws (voiced by Salma Hayek) and an ever-optimistic therapy dog to find the legendary Wishing Star before his time runs out.

Dropping on Netflix on the same date is The Perfect Lie Season 1. This Netflix Original Dutch drama is based on the best-selling book. When a member of their circle dies in a house fire, four seemingly perfect couples begin to unravel. They are forced to question everything they thought they knew about each other.
