With Season 15 of 7 Little Johnstons premiering soon, a lot of TLC viewers are wondering about Joose Jeskanen, including what this unofficial member of the Johnston family has been up to since filming for the show a few years ago. So, where is Joose today?
7 Little Johnstons: Joose Jeskanen Brought A Fresh Perspective And Entertaining Storyline
When TLC introduced Joose Jeskanen in 7 Little Johnstons scenes a few years ago, his presence in scenes injected some much-needed life into the storyline. For years, viewers have said that some of the storylines on the show can be bland and boring, and having Joose around changed that.
One of the many things that 7 Little Johnstons fans got a kick out of when it came to Joose Jeskanen was getting to watch him experience American culture for the first time. This culture shock made for good storytelling, and many people were glued to their seats when Joose was on.
TLC Fans Wonder What Happened To Young Man From Finland
Because Joose Jeskanen was such a big hit with viewers when he was in 7 Little Johnstons scenes, many viewers wonder why they have barely heard anything about him in the seasons since. So much so that some viewers even call him nothing more than a plot device.
Others even accuse Amber Johnston and Trent Johnston of completely dropping Joose as soon as he did not serve any of the storylines they have had since in 7 Little Johnstons scenes.
- One recent commenter said: “Does the family still care about or talk to Joose at all? I mean, they acted like he was a long lost relative for a few seasons there, taking him and visiting him in Finland. I have to imagine he’s in medical school by now. The Johnston family just dropped him like they do with all their pets and unwanted friends.”
- Another TLC commenter said: “I’ve been wondering about him too. I also wondered how “real” that storyline was. I wondered if the show thought having an exchange student would be a good idea to keep viewers engaged or if it was true that his family actually reached out to them.”
